This carefully restored 1965 Mustang Coupe is a very nice example of the mid classic that changed the automotive landscape forever. The coupe exterior was professionally refinished and is in excellent condition - a beautiful 2-stage Black finish. Accents include good chrome/stainless and factory 14” Magnum 500-style wheels w/nice radials. The restored black vinyl interior appears totally original. Upholstery, carpeting, headliner and door cards are all in excellent condition. It is equipped with air conditioning, tinted windows and an upgraded AM/FM sound system has been installed. Horsepower is furnished by a built 289ci Windsor. It is fitted with TRW forged pistons, ported/polished heads w/351 valves, 260 hydraulic CompCam, roller rockers, aluminum intake and Holley 4V carburetor. This strong running Windsor is mated to a C-4 3-speed automatic transmission and Ford 9-inch differential with 3.25:1 gearing. The chassis is equipped with power steering, manual disc/drum brakes, HD front sway bar and new fuel tank.
